Front Desk/Office Manager
Amy joined Allen Chiropractic in January 2014. She is a new resident to Texas, moving to the Keller area from Illinois in August 2013. Though she has prior medial office experience, for the previous 21 years Amy was a stay-at-home Mom to three boys. She is enjoying the challenge of returning to the work force and loves her new position with the Allen team. She says that the best part has been getting to know her co-workers and all of their wonderful patients.
Personal Training/Chiropractic Assistant
Elizabeth has always loved helping and motivating others. So when she joined the Allen Chiropractic family in October 2013, she found the right place for her. Starting off working the front desk, she was able to get her personal training certificate from the Cooper Institute and now works with the patients. She loves the Allen Chiropractic family and patients that she has gotten to know on a personal level.
Steven suffered a lower back injury in 1997. Due to the injury, I also endured a drop foot syndrome of my left foot, leaving me unable to raise my left foot for a year. After many forms of therapy, I realized an important component was missing. I began searching for a way to educate my self and, ultimately, becoming who I am today. I work with a strong desire of placing quality, respect, patience and results first for people seeking help with pain, just as I was looking for in 1997.
I completed massage therapy training in 1999 and began my talent at Kaner Medical Group working for Dr. David Kaner D.O. in his physical medicine clinic, located in Bedford, Texas. While working with Dr Kaner, I assisted author and international lecture James Waslaski with seminars in the Texas area. This led to a job of traveling with one of the longest-running theater productions: The National Tour of Cats.
For two years, I traveled with the production of Cats and offered orthopedic massage therapy, injury prevention, and sports performance treatments for the cast. From the experience with Cats, this leads to other musicals like 42nd Street, Rent and In The Heights. I began Orthopedic Massage Therapy in January 2005. Today my office is located inside Allen Chiropractic, owned by Dean Allen D.C., in Grapevine Texas.
